Indigenous services and reconciliation

Programs whose recipients or purpose are specifically Indigenous, in any department: all Indigenous Services Canada and Crown-Indigenous Relations programs (except the northern programs listed under Northern and regional development), plus programs in other departments that name Indigenous peoples, First Nations, Inuit or Metis communities as recipients or as their purpose. General programs that merely list Indigenous organizations among eligible recipients are not included.

Sources and basis

  • GC InfoBase - Open Datasets, retrieved 2026-11-03. Open Government Licence - Canada. Program spending is reconciled to Public Accounts expenditures by vote for every organization and year. It excludes Employment Insurance benefits, the Canada Child Benefit and other items that are not appropriated, so it differs from the budget tables.
